Cracks should be repaired, and then a layer of base treatment agent should be applied. For metal bases, rust removal and polishing treatment should be done, followed by applying a layer of base treatment agent. The substrate needs to be firm, flat, and clean, without dust, grease, wax, release agent, and other debris. For base surfaces with pores, cracks, unevenness, and other defects, they must be pre-repaired and leveled with cement mortar. It is recommended to paste plastic strips on expansion joints, add a layer of non-woven fabric at joints, and use Lebangshi pipe grouting material to fill pipe openings. 2. Construction process: Prepare the base treatment agent in proportion, where the ratio of liquid material to powder is 1:0.2. Stir separately, and ensure no missed areas when applying the base. Add 5% clean water to the liquid material, stir evenly, and then you can carry out brushing or scraping construction. It should be used up within half an hour. If the temperature is lower than -5℃ or accelerated curing is needed, an appropriate amount of catalyst can be added. 3. Use a brush or roller brush to directly apply it on the base surface with even force, and do not miss any area. Generally, it needs to be applied twice (depending on usage requirements). Powdered rubber manufacturers state that the thickness of each application should not exceed 1mm. The next application should be done after the previous one is slightly dry (just not sticky to the hand, usually with an interval of 1-2 hours). Apply in vertical crisscross directions, and the total thickness of the coating is generally 1-2mm. If the coating has cured, moisten it with clean water first before applying another layer. 4. If there are strength requirements for the waterproof emulsion coating, reinforcement is needed, usually using fiberglass cloth. In addition, the application should be done in multiple coats, and each coat should not be too thick, otherwise cracking will occur.
