On January 25, 2025, during the Spring Festival, a day filled with joy and warmth, members of the Party Branch of Wandong Hi-Tech, together with the Care for the Next Generation Committee and the General Party Branch of Yongfeng Town's Minsheng Community, embarked on a trip to the Yongfeng Town Nursing Home with hearts full of love and care. This was not just a simple visit, but more of a transmission of warmth and hope.

In the early morning, when the first ray of sunlight pierced through the mist and illuminated the earth, the volunteers of Wandong Hi-Tech were already ready to go. Their faces were filled with the joy of the festival, and in their hands they carried heavy gifts, which were carefully prepared New Year's goods for the elders in the nursing home: bags of rice, symbolizing a bumper harvest of all grains and peace year after year; bottles of mellow rapeseed oil, implying a prosperous life that nourishes the heart; boxes of nutritious milk, embodying the good wish for health and longevity; and pieces of sweet and soft pastries, which are the best interpretation of the old people's sweet life. Every gift embodies the volunteers' deep respect and warmth for the elderly. They are not only material assistance, but also spiritual comfort.

As the vehicle slowly drove through the gate of the nursing home, a scene of tranquility and harmony came into view. The elderly were either sitting in the yard basking in the sun or chatting in small groups about daily life, with peaceful smiles on their faces. The arrival of the volunteers added a bit of liveliness and vitality to the place. The elderly warmly welcomed us and quickly took action to help carry supplies. Each trip was filled with warmth and laughter, and unknowingly, the distance between us was shortened.

The volunteers from Wandong Hi-Tech had warm conversations with the elderly, patiently inquiring about their living conditions and physical health in the nursing home. Every greeting and every blessing was like the warm sun in winter, piercing through the cold, illuminating the elderly's hearts, and making them feel the care and warmth from society.
