This product is a type of ion exchange resin where the polymer matrix of styrene—divinylbenzene copolymer crosslinking structure has a sulfonic group(-SO₃H).Acidity of the product is equivalent to that of inorganic acid such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.This type of product presents ion exchange and ion extraction functions in alkaline,neutral,even acidic medium.The product also possesses characteristics of large exchange capacity,fast exchange speed and good mechanical strength.Original designation of this product is 732#,which is equivalent to Amberlite IR-120,Dowex-50 in the US,Lewatit-100 in Germany,and DiaionSK-1 in Japan.
